Guardistallo is a typical small Italian town with narrow cobblestone streets and the bustling piazza in the middle. Il Pittore is just 1.5 km outside, on a hill in a housing development with beautiful panoramic views to the sea. Guardistallo has three restaurants, two small mid-life Ella Eden, bakery, butcher shop, two bars, post office, bank and Farmacia (pharmacy). Therefore, one can get good bread rolls to the foot or the newspaper or go for a meal.
Guardistallo as well as the surrounding small town of Montescudaio, Casale Marittimo and Bolgheri are culturally very atractive. Bolgheri is known for its, largest and longest in Europe, cypress trees, and all others are on the Strada del vino, the landscape is very beautiful, lots of vineyards, olive groves and typical Bruchsteinhaeuser, with small shops to stroll and enjoy. And of course everything in the immediate vicinity of the small city of Cecina.
Cecina each week has a large, attractive weekly market. In high season there is every weekend festivals and lots of entertainment on the beach with concerts, markets, game parks and numerous restaurants.

The inexpensive, well-equipped apartment is located on the first floor and consists of a living room with fireplace, dining table, satellite TV, double extension bed and balcony with sea view. The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, oven and 4 ring gas stove. The bedroom has a large wardrobe and a large, comfortable double bed. The bathroom is very modern, with washing machine, shower, bidet, toilet, sink, skylight, towel warmer and heater.
