Right in the middel of Upper-Austrian Mühlviertel Mill-District, that covers the northern Danube to to the boundary of the Czech Republic, our holiday house is surrounded by forest, fields and meadows- very quiet but not too remote.
The unknown Austria: Mühlviertel Mill district just is the opposite of mass tourism

The Mühlviertel mill district is a change-rich mountainous landscape with spicy air and great forest regions, romantic creeks and gorges, juicy meadows and high granite rocks. Exactly the ringht area for a in fact restful and individual vacation or also only for a few days recreation. The mill quarter lies in the middle of Europe, however, a little off the great streams of mass tourism. Correspondingly that famous touristical infrastruktur which already became a nightmare for many better known areas of Austria "is" missing there.

In the Mühlviertel on the other hand you find the almost non-touristic naturalness and a contemplativeness in an intact environment and nature. Here in the height of 725 meters is WEITERSFELDEN situated a small rural center with farmers, craftsmen . You reach the medieval district town FREISTADT by car in 20 minutes. Busconnections exist to the railway station in FREISTADT and to LINZ with its international airport. In the village you can buy all things of the daily requirement. There are post office , bank , Doctor and pubs and restaurants, a hotel indoor swimming pool with sauna, sport facilities, tennisground, heated open-air swimming pool, a golf course in 10 km distance and many kilometers of local and international hiking ways and courses for cross country skiing. Our house Semi-detached house with four rooms, kitchen, bath has ca.100 square m living room and lies 1,2 km outside the places very calmly at a sunny southwest hillside, directly at the forest edge in 800 m height
From the rooms and the great balcony you enjoy a marvellous, unobstructed look into the valley of the creek black Aist. The asphalted access road is a dead-end street, which is used only seldom. An own source supplies our house with pure drinking water. Behind the house the forest begins now with bilberries and mushrooms
In the winter our house is an ideal starting point for individual cross-country skiing without crowded pathes and mass events. Next to the idyllic process the places of the environment offer in total 700 km Loipen of different difficulty stages which are summarized in a specal map.

Size and Layout of this Holiday house

Into the upper floor you can withdraw also once in order to read or to work.

A desk with a wonderful look into the valley of the Waldaist contributes the possibility to you.

In addition a double bed and a single bed, a wardrobe, a sofa and a washing-occasion are here still. The ground is designed with a fleecy carpet.

On the same floor also is a complete, small kitchen with all necessary kitchenware, freezer and dish washer and a bedroom with double beds and wardrobe

The bath and a small sleeping room with two single beds are in the first floor the garage and the washing machine

Price: for 2 persons. outside of the school vacations in Austria, Germany 40 Euro,- per day In vacation time 60 Euro per day. Every further person over 12 years 10 Euro, electricity and wood for fireing the chimney after consumption for the cost price. You bring bed and table laundry please yourself. It can be provides however against paymant too. The departure and the arrival day is usually Saturday during the vacations. The minmal rent duration is 5 day

Standard and equipment of this Holiday house

The house is completely renovated with great attention to detail. A lot of wood and granite Muehl Viertler were used. The walls are white plaster and the wood planks are good rugs. In the lowest floor granite floor. The house is heated with electric and wood. The fireplace in the living room. From the wraparound balcony and all rooms have a magnificent unobstructed view of the Aisstal and without the surrounding mountains. beautiful Terrace furniture, sun umbrella, barbecue and table tennis are also available. Children can move freely around the house. Abgzaeunter A garden is not available.
